Description

No. 5 The Street is a house dating from the late 17th century, with red brick from the early 19th century encasing a timber frame. It features a plaintiled roof and has two storeys with three windows. The early 19th-century small-pane sash windows have flat arches made of gauged brick at the ground floor. The entrance door is also from the early 19th century, consisting of six panels with fluted reveals and a dummy plaster fanlight above, which has a semi-circular head of gauged brick.
