Description

This is a 17th-century building located on The Street in Old Basing. It is a two-storey and attic structure with a 1.1.1 window arrangement. The building is attached to number 3. The roof is covered in old tiles. The walls are constructed of old bricks in English bond, featuring a thin band at the first floor level and two pilasters. A cement plinth is present. An oval arched doorway is positioned between the pilasters on the ground floor, featuring a brick keystone and impost blocks, set within a brick wall that fills what was formerly a wider opening. Modern casement windows are fitted. A plain door provides access.
