Description

Turret Cottage and Mews Cottage are a pair of two-storey buildings dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. They feature a roof covered with old red tiles, which is half-hipped at the west end. The brickwork is made from old Basing bricks, and there is a band at the first floor level. The ground-floor openings are cambered, and the windows are modern casements, including one small bow window. The doorways are plain and have modern hoods.
