Description

Cannon Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Crown Lane in Old Basing. It has two storeys and features irregular window arrangements. The cottage is topped with a thatched roof that is half-hipped at the east end and hipped with low eaves at the west end, where there is an outshot. The structure has an exposed timber frame with brick nogging. The windows are casements with diagonal leaded panes. There is a modern brick porch with a hipped tile roof and a boarded door set in a solid frame.
