Description

The Malthouse is a building dating from the 17th century with early 19th-century alterations. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows. The roof is covered with old tiles and is half-hipped at the rear where a 19th-century addition is located. The structure is built with old bricks in English bond, and there is a tile string at the second floor above brick dentils in the end gables. A band runs along the first floor, and there is a plinth with a stone moulded offset. The windows are casements. The former central door has been bricked up, and there is an early 19th-century entrance at the south end.
