Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th century building with 20th century alterations. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a thatched roof that is hipped at the ends and lowered in the centre to create a cover for a new porch. The cottage has an exposed timber frame with brick infilling, and the south end includes a new fourth unit that reuses old timbers. The windows are casements, and there is a main door in a solid frame along with a side door at the south end. Additionally, there is a small rear wing made of brick located behind the new section.
