Description

The Laithe House is a 17th-century building. It is characterised by irregular window placement and a 1/2-hipped thatched roof. The building has an exposed timber frame with red brick infill. The gable wall next to the roadway is constructed of brick in a Monk bond pattern, featuring a cambered opening at ground-floor level. Windows are casements, and there is a traditional doorway. The building has undergone restoration and bears a date of 1349.
