Description

The cartshed located 20 yards south-west of Sydmonton Farmhouse dates from the early 19th century. It features a timber frame consisting of four bays, with a narrow aisle opposite the open front. The structure has a Queen post truss and a hipped tile roof at the east end. The block wall at the west end, which extends beyond the frame, indicates that the original length of the building has been reduced.
