Description

The cartshed north of Upper Farmhouse is a structure dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is timber framed and features weatherboarded cladding with a corrugated iron roof. The building has four bays and an aisle at the rear, with the northern bay being enclosed. The design includes tie beam trusses with archbraces to jowled posts and raking struts to the principals. It has a single collar and purlins, with the ridge supported by a timber yoke that is nailed to the apex of the couples.
