Lawn Cottage is an early 19th century building with mid-19th century alterations. It features a symmetrical front on the west side, consisting of two storeys and two windows. To the east, there is an extensively-altered stable block that has one storey and an attic. The building is topped with hipped slate roofing and has stucco walls, a first floor band, plain architraves, and a plinth. The windows are Victorian sashes. The entrance includes a canopy and is part of the later unit, which also has gabled dormers. Lawn Cottage is included for its group value.
