Description

The Chase is an early 19th-century house consisting of three connected sections, each with varying heights of two, three, and two storeys. The front (east) elevation features two, two, and one windows. It has a hipped slate roof with an eaves fascia on one part. The southern section has stucco walls with a stone plinth and cills, while the central section is constructed of flint with flush brick bands and quoins. The northern side is finished in painted brickwork. The windows are sash style set in reveals. The main doorway is flanked by plain pilasters with block caps and bases, topped with a large canopy, and features a six-panelled door with glazed upper panels. There is also a plain door with a canopy on the south elevation. In the central block, coupled garage doors have been created.
