Description
May's Farmhouse is an L-shaped timber-framed house dating from the 17th, 18th, and 20th centuries, featuring a recent wing and infilling. The building has two storeys and displays irregular window arrangements in the older section. It has a half-hipped tile roof and a shafted stack. The frame is exposed on three elevations, with brick infill and other walling, primarily in Flemish bond. The windows include modern casements, some of which are in bay formations, while the newer front section has sash windows. There is a glazed door set in a solid frame on the south side, and a modern Georgian doorcase at the entrance on the north side.
