Description

The Firs is an early 19th-century house with 20th-century additions, located in Tadley West Heath. The original central block is two storeys high with four windows, and it is flanked by projecting wings of the same style, also two storeys high with two windows each. The house has a tile roof with brick dentil eaves, and its walls are red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, featuring blue headers and red rubbed flat arches. A slate plinth runs along the base. The windows are sash windows in exposed frames; an old window opening above the entrance has been filled with blue headers. An early 20th-century Ionic porch shelters an architrave and a half-glazed door. The wings have hipped roofs.
