Description

This late 18th-century forge is two storeys high with three window bays. It has an old tile roof that is half-hipped to the south-east and fully hipped to the north-west, and a large square brick stack. The walls are red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with cambered ground-floor openings. Casement windows are present, with one blank side wall facing the roadway. More recently, a modern brick and tile porch has been added along with a two-storey rear extension built to match the original building's style.
