Description

The Gables is an 18th-century building located on Church Street in Upton Grey. It is two storeys high and features four windows, with the rear elevation showcasing four gables. The building has an old tiled roof and is constructed from red brick laid in Flemish bond, accented with blue headers. The ground floor includes a cambered opening, while the windows are casements. The doorway is particularly notable, featuring an open pediment supported by scroll brackets and pilasters, an arched opening with a solid tympanum, and a glazed door.
