Description

Wayside Cottage is a timber-framed cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with some modern extensions. It is one storey with an attic and has recently been extended to the north, adding a second storey. The cottage features a thatched roof that is half-hipped at the south end and includes eyebrow dormers. The exposed frame has brick infill, while the extension is constructed of brickwork. The windows are casements, and there is a plain boarded door. Additionally, a small timber-framed wing is attached at the south-west corner.
