Description
The Dairy and Cattle Byre at Wickhurst Farm is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof that is hipped at the north end. It is a long structure located on the west side of the yard, with the south end adjoining the north side of the main barn. The building is single storey and features a brick cross wall that separates the dairy from the cattle byre.
On the east side, there is a wide opening leading into the dairy at the south end, accompanied by a vertical boarded door to the left. The cattle byre has a large central entry, with a doorway to the left and a high-level window without a frame to the right. The rear or west wall includes two timber-framed three-light windows with arched heads and a similar two-light window at the north end, all fitted with glazing bars. Additionally, there are doorways leading to both the dairy and the byre. The building is listed for its group value with the main barn.
