Description

Wickhurst Farm's cartshed, dating from the 18th century, features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard and corrugated iron cladding. The roof is covered with plain tiles, gabled at the north end and hipped at the south end. There is a lean-to extension with a catslide roof on the west side. The shed has four bays that are open on the east side. It includes jowelled bay posts, angle braces to the plate on the open side, tension braces to the end walls, and intermediate rails in the bays of the rear wall. The south end wall is clad with corrugated iron. This structure is listed for its group value only and is situated adjacent to the southeast corner of the main barn.
