Description
The Cart Shed and Coach House at Marlee Home Farm is a distinctive farm building likely constructed before 1808, with later alterations. It is a tall single-storey and loft structure with a square plan, featuring a steeply pitched pavilion roof. The building is located close to the main farm buildings and is constructed of whitewashed rubble with ashlar margins, although most openings have been blocked.
On the northwest elevation, there is a central door that was previously accessed by a forestair, with a blocked opening visible to the left at ground level and two small square openings near the eaves at the outer bays. The southeast and northeast elevations have later additions made of timber and corrugated metal.
