Description

This building comprises three ranges: The Old Post Office, Post Cottage, and The Old Bakery, located on the west side of Lewes Road in Forest Row. The construction dates to the 18th century. The building has a tiled roof and two storeys with five windows. The former Estate Agent’s premises have an ashlar ground floor and a tile-hung upper section with casement windows. Post Cottage is constructed of painted ashlar with a string course and sash windows with glazing bars. The Old Post Office is of painted brick with a modern shop front and sash windows above. A pointed Gothic window is visible in the north wall.
