Description
31 and 31A High Street is a former timber-framed house, with its north and south fronts rebuilt in the 19th century. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the upper part features tiles, including curved tiles on the south front. Timber-framing can still be seen in the east wall of the passage that runs through the house on the east side. The north front has a gable with 18th-century sash windows. The entrance to 31A and the passage through the house is marked by a flat segmental fanlight.
