Description
The gazebo in the garden of No 11 High Street is an 18th-century square building that was likely originally a watch tower, built on a projection of the Town Wall. The north and east sides are covered with weatherboarding that is grooved to imitate masonry, while the west side is made of red brick. The upper portion of the south side is supported by columns. This gazebo is part of a group that includes Nos 6, 7, 7A, and Nos 9 to 17 (consecutive), the Gate Piers, the Old Coach House, and the Rye Working Conservative Club.
