Description

The Old Coach House is a building from the 18th century, likely originally a cottage and coach house. It is 1½ storeys high and has an L-shaped layout with dormers. The structure is made of red brick, with the southern gable end featuring a top storey that is tile hung and a bottom storey finished in pink stucco. The roof is tiled, and the interior includes timber framing. The Old Coach House is part of a group that includes Nos 6, 7, 7A, and Nos 9 to 17 (consecutive), gate piers, a gazebo in the garden of No 11, and the Rye Working Men's Conservative Club.
