Description
This is an 18th-century gazebo located in the back garden of No. 1, Matlock Road, Meads. The surrounding houses (Nos. 1-7, odd) were built in 1894, likely on the site of an earlier 18th-century farmhouse and associated enclosure called The Village. The gazebo is a small, rectangular two-story building with a cobble facade, red brick dressings, and quoins. It has a pyramidal tiled roof. The first-floor windows have been enlarged.
