Description
Meads Place is an 18th-century building located on Gaudick Road in Meads. It is two storeys high with an attic and features three windows. The exterior is constructed of red brick with grey headers and is topped with a hipped slate roof. A wooden cornice with modillions adds detail to the façade. The building has three dormers, each with pediments; the central dormer is curved and all have casement windows with leaded panes. There is a flat hood above the entrance door. Notably, on the first floor of the south front, there is a sundial set into the wall, resembling a tablet or wall tombstone, flanked by pilasters and topped with a broken pediment. Additionally, a bay window has been added to the ground floor.
