Description

Hodeslea is a red brick gabled villa built in 1890 for T H Huxley by his son-in-law, Frederick Waller, funded by public subscription. The building is listed for its historical significance. The doorway has been altered, and many of the interior rooms have been combined, but the library remains virtually in its original state.
