Number 41 High Street is a 16th century timber-framed house that shares a roof span with The Standard Inn. It features a plastered facade, with the first floor designed to resemble masonry through grooving. The gable has a moulded bargeboard. The building is two storeys high and has one window, which is a 18th century sash window. There is also a modern shop window. Number 41, along with numbers 43 to 46, forms a group.
