This house, located at 43 High Street, is an early 15th-century building that originally may have been part of the same structure as the adjoining No 41, as there is no No 42. The house features a jettied first floor, while the ground floor has been underbuilt with brick. The first floor displays two ornamental diamond-shaped panels that contain quatrefoil ornaments. The ground floor windows and the central first-floor window are modern, but original casement windows are found on either side of the central window. Inside, there are open fireplaces with heavy wooden lintels. This property, along with No 41 and Nos 43 to 46, forms a cohesive group.
