Description

This is a 15th-century timber-framed house, formerly known as "The Foresters" public house, located on the north side of High Street in The Mint. The house has two storeys and an attic, originally featuring two windows. Two dormers are visible on the roof, which is tiled. The first floor juts out, supported by a moulded bressumer. The ground floor has been restored, now featuring modern casement windows and a decorative plaster pargeting panel depicting leaves. According to the Victoria County History, the house contains a 15th-century timbered roof. The house forms a group with Nos. 41 and 43 to 46.
