Description

Ebenezer House, located at No 21 Wood's Passage, is a late 18th-century building. It features weatherboarding and a tiled mansard roof with gable ends. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window façade. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, except for the central first-floor window, which has been replaced by a casement. The central doorway is framed by a moulded doorcase and includes a rectangular fanlight above a panelled and glazed door, topped with a curved zinc hood. In the mansard roof, there are flat-roofed attic dormers with wooden frames and sashes that also have glazing bars. Brick chimney stacks are located at both ends of the building. Ebenezer House is part of a group that includes Nos 2, 4, 8, 13, 15, 21, 23, and No 32A Tackleway, with No 15 being of local interest only.
