Description

No. 36 Tackleway is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high and is positioned end to the road. It features one sash window with glazing bars and has a tile-hung exterior resting on a brick base. The roof is hipped and covered with new tiles. The south elevation, which is at right angles to the street, is asymmetrical and also tile-hung. The ground floor includes a flush-panelled door set in a moulded doorcase with shaped brackets supporting a hood. To the right of the door is an altered sash window, and further to the right is a wide ground floor opening with wood trellis-work and a doorway inside. On the first floor, there is one sash window that has been restored at a later date.
