Description

Nos. 36 and 38 Rose Street are a pair of houses dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The buildings feature a combination of timber framing that is rendered and painted, as well as brickwork, topped with an old tile gabled roof. The structure is arranged in a U-plan with two gables at the rear and a flat-roofed 20th-century extension between them. The houses are two storeys high, with flanking chimneys and two bays. The windows are 20th-century two-light casements with glazing bars, and there are two entrance doors located in the centre.
