WHITE WALTHAM CHERRY GARDEN LANE SU 88 SE (east side, off) 9/41. 6/41 Stables and cart shed at Woolley Firs, approx. 20 metres west of house

Combination farm building comprising cart shed and stables with lofts over; now used for general storage. Mid C18. Mostly pinkish brick in Flemish bond with some vitreous headers, part weatherboarded timber frame. Old tile hipped roof, long rectangular plan with slightly projecting wings at ends; that on the south of 4 framed bays, with curved queen strut roof. One and a half storeys. Offset and dentilled brick eaves. East front: irregular. Former cart shed on left, weatherboarded and with gabled hayloft breaking eaves to right of centre. Right hand section has 2 boarded openings and a central, gabled hayloft breaking eaves. Central section has a small projection on each end, adjoining projecting wings with roof continued down to low eaves level. Doorway at centre with a window opening on each side with segmental head. Similar hayloft to right of centre. West front: plain brick, 5 bays blocked openings with segmental heads.
