Description
Turville Cottage is an early 17th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features an old clay tile roof with a chimney on the right-hand side. The structure has three bays and a timber frame, with modern brick infill and braces that are tiled over. There is a part brick and flint plinth beneath the sole plate. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, while the ground floor to the left includes a modern glazed porch and two 3-light casement windows to the right. The rear of the cottage has later extensions with pent and flat roofs.
Inside, the cottage retains original features such as chamfered and stopped beams, as well as visible joists.
