Description

Melgan Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Denham Village Road. It features a red brick exterior over a timber frame and has an old tile roof. The cottage has a gable end facing the street, which is barge-boarded. It is two storeys high, with the first floor containing one 2-light casement window. The ground floor has a door and one 2-light casement window, both of which have cambered arches and leaded lights. There is a square single chimney stack on the right-hand side, and the left side of the cottage displays exposed timber-framing.
