Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century, two-storey timber-framed house. It features seven upper windows and five lower windows. The cottage has a red tile roof and a tile-hung west gable, with a large chimney stack at the east end. The frame is mainly exposed on the upper floor, with red brick infill and other types of walling. The windows are modern casements, and there is a gabled porch.
