Description
Letterbox Cottage is a 17th-century house with a timber frame, featuring a red brick ground floor and a tile-hung first floor. It has a plain tiled hipped roof and a lower return wing on the left side. The cottage is two storeys tall, with a ridge stack on the right and an end stack on the left. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three on the first floor and four on the ground floor, including a very wide window in the center of the first floor. The windows are 20th-century wooden casements. There is a half-glazed door under a porch at the angle with the left wing and another half-glazed door at the right end. Inside, there is evidence of a substantial timber frame.
