Description

Hazelden is a 16th-century farmhouse. The structure is timber-framed and sits on a red brick plinth. The exterior is weatherboarded with a plain tiled roof. A gabled wing extends to the rear left, featuring a very large and tall red brick stack. The front facade is two storeys high and has an irregular two-window arrangement, with 20th-century casement windows. A central entrance is marked by a four-panel door within a moulded wooden surround. A two-storey half-hipped block is located in the rear angle, with catslide extensions extending further back. The interior retains substantial timber framing.
