Description

Little Friezley is a possible former hall-house, now a farmhouse, dating to the late 15th or early 16th century, with significant 18th-century alterations. The building is timber framed and features a red brick ground floor and a first floor clad in tiles. The roof is tiled, hipped, and includes gablets, with a step down from right to left on the ridge, and a brick stack positioned off-centre to the left of the ridge. It is two storeys high. The window arrangement is irregular, with two windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, plus one window in the end of a single-storey hipped extension. The windows are wooden casements of varying dates. A boarded door is located to the right of the centre of the building. Inside, substantial timber framing is visible.
