Description

Broomfield is a cottage dating from the 17th century, located in Cranbrook at Collier's Green. It features a timber-framed structure set on a red brick plinth, with exposed plaster infilling and some curved braces. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped to the right, with a red brick stack on the ridge to the left. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high. The first floor has an irregular arrangement of three windows, while the ground floor has two windows, all of which are wood-framed casements with diamond lattice glazing. There is a boarded door positioned to the left of centre, and a 18th-century lean-to extension is located to the left.
