Description

Fringle Cottage is a 17th century and 20th century, two-storey timber-framed house located on the south side of The Street in Rotherwick. The cottage features a gable at the west side and has a jettied first floor that extends along the entire front, adorned with a moulded board. It has a red tile roof and a massive chimney stack. The exposed frame is complemented by painted brick infill. The windows are casements, including an old leaded light on the west end. The entrance has a plain door. The building has been greatly restored.
