Description

Hillside is a 17th century timber-frame house located on The Street in Starston. The exterior is roughcast and features remnants of panel pargetting. It has a steep tiled roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with 19th century two and three-light casements that include dripmoulds. The doorway is off-centre, positioned in front of the chimney stack, and features a mid-19th century moulded architrave doorcase with a cornice, a panelled door, and a Victorian fretwork porch with turned balusters. There is a modern brick wing at the rear.
