Description

Laylands Cottage is a 17th-century building that stands two storeys high and features four windows. It has a tiled roof and a tapered chimney stack. The cottage is constructed with an exposed timber frame and red brick infill. The windows are casements with leaded lights, and the first floor retains some old windows. There is a modern half-timbered porch added to the front of the cottage.
