Description
The gate piers and walls to Beaumont College, located adjacent to the lodge, were built in the late 19th century. They are constructed from a combination of stock brick and rendered surfaces. There are two gate piers with linking walls on either side of the entrance. The inner piers are rendered and feature inset panels, moulded bases, and cornices, topped with iron lanterns. The outer piers are made of brick, with every sixth course projecting, and also have moulded bases and heads. The linking walls are brick and have balustraded tops.
