Description
The Royal Holloway College entrance gates and lodge, built around 1880, are an integral part of the main design of the college. The entrance features five stone piers topped with urns and short sections of balusters. There are vehicle and pedestrian gates made of plain iron bars with spearhead tops. The lodge itself is constructed of red brick with stone dressings, featuring a splayed bay window, a tiled roof, and a stone eaves cornice with two stacks.
