Church 1859 by E B Lamb. Graded slate roofs, stone walls with eaves corbels. Rectangular plan north transept only balanced by tower on south. Vestry in north east angle. Tower - square plan, two storeys with truncated spire with lead pyramid capping. Two-light lancet windows, door on south. Buttress and staircase turret on west side. East end, five-light window with only central three lights glazed, solid panels below. Interior: Four bay nave, arched collar with braced purlin roof trusses. Small two-light windows with two-light dormers in roof. Walls constructed on bands of ornamental brick, limestone and Kentish rag. Tiled roof. East end: Decorated style, 5-light window with stained glass. Font: Octagonal Coade stone, ogee profile cusps and tracery. North transept, 5 light window and small rose window in west wall. Stone arch to two bay chancel. Brass eagle lectern. Organ in base of tower.
