Description
The Methodist Church, built around 1900, is designed in the Art Nouveau style. Its walls are rendered with patterned bands, and there are brick and stone dressings around the openings. The church has a single-storey structure with a gabled roof that features wide eaves and a gable projection, which has been retiled. A central castellated porch is located at the northeast corner, topped with a copper-covered dome. The building includes a low battered tower with castellations, a copper dome, and a finial. The church has five bays, each supported by battered buttresses with stone copings. On the east elevation, there are four three-light windows with segmental stone arched heads and stone jambs, along with a brick arch above. The front gable features a similar three-light window, and there is a two-light window in the porch.
