Description
Pelling Close is a small house built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The structure features part stock brick and a painted stuccoed front, topped with a low pitch, hipped slate roof. It has a rectangular plan with a one-bay extension at the rear, designed in a similar style.
The exterior is two storeys high and has chimneys at either end of the ridge. The entrance front, facing southwest, is symmetrical and consists of three bays. It has a plinth and a plat band at the first floor level, along with a parapet. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are set in moulded architrave surrounds, with the centre window on the first floor featuring a round-arched head. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and has a rectangular fanlight above, all framed by a moulded architrave surround. The interior has not been inspected.
