Description
Ouseley Lodge is a mid-19th century house, subsequently altered and extended in the 20th century, now divided into five flats. The building is constructed of stock brick with stucco dressings, and has a low-pitched slate roof. The architectural plan is based around a central staircase. The original building is two storeys high, with a 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear and a two-storey extension to the left. The north-west facade (entrance front) features sash windows with entablatures. It has six bays, the left-hand bay being the later extension, matching the original style. A slightly projecting central section has a pediment and pilasters at the angles. Pilasters also define the outer angles of the building. The front entrance features double doors with glazed upper panels and a decorative fanlight, set within a projecting Doric porch with a parapet. The interior of the building was not inspected at the time of listing.
