Description

Nos 7 to 9 on Thames Street are two-storey buildings with an attic, dating from the early to mid 18th century and faced with stucco. They feature a cornice with modillion brackets. The attic floor is continuous with the coping and originally had hipped roof dormers. The shop fronts were added in the early 20th century. On the first floor, there are two windows set in flush architraves, with a narrow window in the center. These buildings are part of an important group that includes No 2 Thames Street, Knights Tavern, and Nos 5 to 16 and 18 to 25 Thames Street.
